Frame Of Mind
Frame of Mind remind me of the 80's band Curiosity Killed the Cat. Everyone over, say, 25 years old will remember this band; not only because of the good looking lead singer, but because of their typical 80's pop.
The band took stage and played Drowing, Dancing with Daylight and Black and White to kick off the gig. These tracks were slow and even though the band seemed confident they, particularly Don (guitarist and backing vocalist), didn't seem to be enjoying themselves whilst they warmed up the Blue Fish.
The band switched styles and played a few faster tracks; Ian Lawton (singer and acoustic guitarist) cracked a joke about the electric piano he played during Ginegerino Rock and after the song was finished and this seemed to break the atmosphere. Frame of Mind's then bassy, sassy and funky songs heated up the band and also the audience.
The Blue Fish became red hot during the last tracks, On My Mind, Closer to Me and The Same. Don was even grinning from ear to ear during the last songs!
Frame of Mind finished with I've Got Up and the audience were not satisfied. We all could have stayed all night and listened to the whole gig all over again.
