How will the GSD UK Latin American & Media Awards Presented?
The show will be held on Wednesday, 8th July at Infernos, 146 Clapham High Street, London, SW4 7UH with more than ten participating musical acts of various genres and approximately 200 invited guests. The programme will give a unique chance to interact with the artists and corporate representatives of Latin American and UK firms, not to mention the media coverage on the night.
Why?
a) To give recognition to the talented Latin American / Spanish-speaking artists that live in the UK. There will be media companies and record labels on the lookout for new unsigned artists.
b) All proceeds or profits will go to the ACULCO project which basically trains young people of mostly South London in the industry of media communications. So for example, how to become a journalist or radio host etc etc. All their staff are voluntary, all their training costs etc are voluntary. They recently celebrated their 1st year anniversary and because of their efforts most of the costs have already been covered by the likes of The Metropolitan Police, Transport for London, and other government / public services organisations.
